Saint Frances Cabrini is special. Her feast day is on November 13. She was the first American citizen to become a saint! Born in Italy, she came to America in 1889 to serve Italian immigrants. Even though she was afraid of water, she crossed the ocean 23 times. She did this to set up schools, hospitals, and orphanages all over the Americas. Known as "Mother Cabrini," she showed incredible courage and determination, founding 67 institutions before her death. Like Saint Christopher, she's a powerful patron for those on difficult journeys.
