The Rosary is among the most beloved of all Catholic devotions — a string of prayers woven around the great mysteries of Christ’s life, from his birth to his resurrection, contemplated through the loving eyes of his Mother. Tradition holds that the Blessed Virgin Mary entrusted this prayer to Saint Dominic in the thirteenth century, and across the centuries the faithful have turned to it in times of great peril and great hope alike.
